The Buffalo Bisons’ 2018 Promotional Schedule is once again filled to the brim with special events, giveaways, theme nights and fireworks!

With nearly half (33) of the Bisons’ 70 scheduled home games on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the ballpark will once again be the top destination for weekend fun. The fridaynightbash! series returns with each game featuring the Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour and postgame fireworks! Saturdays feature an all new 6:05 p.m. start time beginning in June and will be the day Bisons fans find their favorite themed night, such as Star Wars Night (June 2) presented by Alfred State College, Superhero Night (Aug. 11), Dino Day (July 21), Seinfeld Night with special guest appearance by Steve Hytner, aka Kenny Bania (June 23), and Strike Out Cancer Night (July 7).

Bisons fans can also look forward to the return of some fan favorite traditions, such as the 24th annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus (July 3), Mystery Ball Night (Aug. 22) and Fan Appreciation Night (Aug. 27).

The popular Dog Day has been expanded into the all-new Dog Day Series, with one game every month of the season open for our favorite four-legged fans: April 28, May 20, June 14, July 17 and Aug. 21. The Dog Day on Sunday, May 20 will even feature a Dog Bowl Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans in attendance.

Other giveaways on the schedule include Magnetic Schedules on Opening Day (April 12), Logo Baseballs on Father’s Day (June 17), Fidget Spinners (June 27) and Giant Wall Stickers (Aug. 1). All giveaways are to the first 2,000 fans through the Inspire Dental Gate at Swan Street.

No Bisons promotional schedule would be complete without the Heritage Festival Nights with pre-game tent party and post-game fireworks on Irish Night (June 26), Italian Night (July 19) and Polish Night (Aug. 7). In all, the Bisons have 18 Fireworks Nights in 2018, or over 25 percent of their 70-game schedule.
